Since then\, two design competitions have been put into motion\, titled Complete the Community: An Affordable Housing and Design Competition and Request for Visions. Both solicited proposals for innovative ways to rebuild a better city and place design and sustainability at the core of planning for a more resilient future. \nThe exhibit features 26 selected projects from the competitions that explore themes including Prairie-to-Bay Ecology\, Green Corridors\, Hubs\, the Future of Buildings\, and the Future of the Energy Economy. The showcase is the inaugural exhibition for the newly reopened ArCH space\, which flooded during Hurricane Harvey. It is currently open to the public by reservation. \nNathan Bahadursingh \n URL://m.aptusmedical.com/event/houston-2020-visions/ CATEGORIES:Exhibit ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://cdn.archpaper.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/4_Gensler_Future-of-Lower-Westheimer-scaled.jpg END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
